Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the US as well as Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. She works as an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation occasionally. She joined ESPN as a reporter in 2016. Her mother is the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual from age nine. Her skills were instrumental in helping her land her first job as a production assistant for Univision Miami and Univision Miami, where she assisted the production of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Then, in St. Petersburg, she was recruited as a reporter by the CBS station as an sports reporter. In 2009 she relocated to Texas in the Rio Grande Valley where she became a news correspondent at KNVO TV 48 Univision. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley in Texas and became an editor for KNVO48 Univision and Fox2 News. She was also frequently asked to serve as an anchor for sports and weather. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate where she took on additional responsibilities. She wrote pieces to sports like the NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason games, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. Apart from that, she also hosted and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She was promoted to anchoring sports for Despierta America Deportes' morning show. As a sports anchor she was employed by Primer Impacto (a network magazine) and Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports program). Antonietta Collin's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1985 in Mexico City. She also has an older sibling. In 1992 the family left Mexico to the US and settled in Miami. After a while the family split up, and, in 1995 Fabio Fajardo got married again. He passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. Her residence was at Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer and was provided with the opportunity of a job. Still a senior in high school but with a clear idea about what she wanted to pursue for her life, Antonietta visited the University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her preferences. At the end of the day she fell in love with the campus. And they offered her an academic major. Following her graduation from her high school education, she chose to go to the university to pursue a degree in media studies. The relationship she formed was long-lasting with her teacher Mark Bergmann who was the manager of WRMU 91.1 FM, of which she was a member. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her with his enthusiasm for journalism. Also, he deeply affected her.
